Germany

Today Connor's class shared a presentation they had prepared in honor of the Olympics.  Each group researched and prepared a short presentation about a country.  Connor's group did Germany.  While he enjoys the German National Anthem, he says he prefers Italy's National Anthem.

 

 

 

 

Happy Hollow

The boys have been off this week, but we've mainly been staying home.  They had school projects to work on and such.  Today was such a nice day and we ventured out to Happy Hollow.

First off, Kyle acquired this fedora yesterday at Target and it has been worn ever since!  It was in their dollar bin, so who am I to argue.  He LOVES it!

 First we visited the farm animals.  Connor is not a fan of them because he says they stink and they really do stink.  Nicholas and Kyle don't mind though!

 My two cowboys!  Kyle refused to sit on them or take any pictures.  In fact, he told me that he was tired of me taking pictures of them all the time.

Happy Birthday, Charlie!

Saturday was Charlie's birthday, but we celebrated it on Friday.  He chose to have an Amato's Philly Cheesesteak for dinner and opted for pie instead of cake.  He couldn't decide which kind of pie he wanted, so I got him both of the ones he was considering-- Chocolate Silk pie and Lemon Cheesecake. 

 

 

 

Valentine's Day

Last night, Charlie came home from work with a surprise!  He brought me 30 tulips and a cute balloon.  He also got me a new engagement ring and proposed again.  He knew I was sad that I was robbed of that memory.  I love him and I loved my surprise!

 

The boys got dressed up for Valentine's Day.  Kyle was not so eager and was actually my Grumpy little Valentine this morning.

 Apparently, yesterdays gifts were not Valentine gifts.  This is my actual Valentine gift from Charlie! 

Frozen Sing-a-long

Today the oldest two and I attended the Disney's Frozen sing-a-long.  Connor and I sang, but Nicholas just watched.  It was great!  We went with friends and we dressed up. 

We wore our best Frozen attire.  Many thanks to my talented friend, Nancy, who designed and sewed our costumes!
