Nicholas and Haley
Nicholas gets very excited when I check out the Fifields' blog. He absolutely LOVES to watch the videos of Haley and look at her pictures. He can sit there and watch her videos over and over and over! As soon as it finishes playing, he will start chanting, "Again, again, again, again" until I play it again. It is so funny to see him as he watches Haley's videos because he is in such awe and is so happy. So the only thing I can do is hope that Paul will make a much longer Haley video for Nicholas to watch. :)
Below you have a couple of pictures of Nicholas sitting to watch Haley's latest video.

Sleep Buddy
I decided I would take pics of the kids and their sleep buddies (the toy they take to bed with them). Nicholas has his precious "Doggie" and Connor still sometimes sleeps with his "Baby Bear". For the most part, Connor has outgrown needing the bear, but will still ask for it sometimes when Nicholas has us searching for "Doggie" at bedtime. Connor just hugs his bear and goes to sleep. Nicholas will make "Doggie" go to sleep first before he passes out himself.

Playtime
Connor and Nicholas have very enthusiastically decided on their Halloween costumes. Nicholas actually decided first; he chose to be Buzz Lightyear. Prior to that decision, Connor wanted to be Spiderman, Iron Man, Batman, the Witch from "The Wizard of Oz", and various other things he saw costumes for in the store. After Nicholas decided, Connor decided he would be Woody. :)
He is very excited to get to wear cowboy boots and a cowboy hat with his costume. We got the boots and hat already, so he has been wearing the boots everyday. I decided to take some pictures of him because I think it is adorable that he is sooooo into being a 'cowboy' right now. He even wants me to write the name "Andy" on the bottom of his boots so he is just like the Woody in the movie (Toy Story if you hadn't already gotten that.) We are still waiting for the rest of the costume to come in.

While we did get Connor his witch's hat, he was disappointed
we didn't get him any paint to make his skin green.
Nicholas latest love is a toy doggie that barks, walks, and jumps. He has named it "Kittie" even though he knows it is a dog. He also has a kangaroo with a joey in it's pouch that he has named "Doggie", so it shouldn't surprise me what he named the dog. :P

In the photo below, you see Nicholas with another of his favorite things-- cooking! He likes to use the toy kitchen to make spaghetti, mac and cheese, or bacon and eggs. As you can tell he takes his cooking as he does anything that has to do with food-- very seriously!

Be Careful
Tonight on our after-dinner walk, we were taken aback by a woman who was out jogging. She told us to be careful on account that she had just been mugged across the street. She was ok but the mugger took what little she had on her. Connor was very concerned about her and kept asking her why someone would take her stuff. She smiled and was glad that he was so concerned. She was on her way into a convenience store to use the phone to call the police. Needless to say, we warned everyone else out walking as we went home. So now I warn all of you as well to be careful out there and try not to be out alone if you can help it.

Just Us
So lately we have been busy with a little of this and a little of that and had not really taken many photos. To make up for it, we took several today for those of you who miss us. :)
Nicholas had a well check-up and he is doing very well developmentally. He is advanced in number of words apparently. He is still motivated to keep using the potty (much to our great delight!) He is in the 75th percentile for height (33.5 inches) and weight (28.4 pounds).
Connor has been enjoying the home school scene. He loves to show off for Daddy how much he learned each time. Much like Daddy, math is his favorite area.
We are still researching cars. We found a few cars that may fit Charlie and hopefully will go investigate them in person soon. He's really hoping to fit into a hybrid, but we shall see.
