Birthday Party fun

We attended our first birthday party at a place called Pump It Up.  Nicholas and his best friend had a blast!

Holly and Nicholas playing with the fun mirror before the party started
 Lots of bouncy houses!
Eoghan climbed to the top of the climbing wall!
Nicholas attempted, but only made it half way!  Still, I was proud of him for trying because he's always been too chicken to even try it.
He and some friends got in the cyclone together.

First Grade Performance

April 1st was the First Grade Patriotic performance.  Unfortunately, several kids were absent and they had to shuffle kids around so Nicholas ended up sitting very low on the stage which made it difficult to take any pictures of him let alone video of him.  He put his little heart into his performance though. :)

Here we are sitting and waiting for the show to start!

They moved him immediately to the floor when 4 kids were missing.

Class Pictures

Today we got the class picture the boys took a couple of weeks back.  They are both making strange faces in their pictures.  Ahhh memories!

Saint Patrick's Day

The boys have been excited to wear green today and talking a lot about leprechauns.  They really want to try to catch one but figure it is too late this year and are planning for next year.
They came home from school to a surprise note on the door!
They searched for their treats in the grass and were so happy!

Nicholas' class had cupcakes and even Kyle got one!
Kyle did not want his picture taken and was running away from me.

Beautiful Saturday

The weather is SO great recently!  We woke up early on Saturday to watch Muppets Most Wanted.  We were moved to the front of the line and entered the theater first because Connor wore his Kermit the Frog shirt and our friend, Trevor, brought his plush Kermit with him.  The boys enjoyed the movie.  Afterwards, we went to have some crepes and enjoyed some sunshine.  The boys really liked this fountain.

Then I went to the Dry Bar for the first time, where they blow out your hair and make you look beautiful!  I had a fabulous time.  Then we had dinner at Village California Bistro.  The food was delicious!  My very favorites were the 'Deviled' Medjool Dates (which are roasted dates filled with goat cheese and wrapped with ham, crushed pistachios, and piquillo gastric) and the Bread Pudding which had a rum butterscotch sauce.  After that we walked around and enjoyed the evening happenings at Santana Row.  Great ladies night!

And today, my hair is still mostly straight.  :)

Birthday

We decided to celebrate my birthday on Sunday since Charlie was off of work.  We woke up late and went to have brunch at Mimi's.  It was so yummy!  Then we went shopping a very big part of the day and finally we had Chef Li's for dinner.  We had mini bundt cakes for dessert!  We got Praline Pecan, Carrot Cake, and Chocolate Chocolate Chip.
Kyle refused to be in the pictures.

Then on my actual birthday, we got a chocolate mousse cake with chocolate covered strawberries. Yum!
