The two oldest decided to start training for Friday's Walk-a-thon.  They did 6 laps yesterday.

Meanwhile, Kyle plays on the playground.

Busy Saturday

We had a birthday party this morning and then we really wanted to do the Art & Wine Festival at the park nearby, so we are so tired from all the walking we have done today.  It was great fun though!

He made it all the way to the top this time! He was very proud of himself!  Given that he's afraid of heights, but was determined to do this anyway, we are super proud of him as well!

Community Heroes

Today at Mommy and Me on the Row, they had special guests- Firemen and Policemen.  Kyle enjoyed interacting with them.  He also enjoyed the balloon sword he had made for him.
We were lucky that we were able to go into the fire truck and take a picture.  The line was long and when it was just past our turn, the firemen were called away on an emergency.

Birthday Celebration

A couple of weeks ago, several of us went out to celebrate one of my best friend's birthdays.  We got dolled up and went out to dinner and dancing.  We then spent the night at the Fairmont in San Jose.  It was a lovely time.
One of our friends, Jenna, was there with her photo equipment and took lots of pictures of us.  I'm no model by any means, but I love that she can make me feel like one.  HA!  :)

Labor day

We went to a "new to us" playground.  It is Saratoga Creek Park.  The kids had fun playing with friends.

The boys had never ridden a tire swing before so I made them all do it so I could take pictures.
They finally told me to stop taking pictures. HA!

The younger two decided filling their socks with sand like a sand bag was the best thing ever.

Charlie and Connor decided it was too hot and that they needed a nap.
