Principal Super Star

Every week at the boys' school, a student from each classroom is chosen to be recognized.  Those are known in advance so that the parents can attend the Friday Assembly and take pictures.  Every week a few students from the school in general are chosen by the Principal to be recognized for something he deemed exemplary in them.  These Principal picks are always a surprise and there is usually only one or two each week from the whole school.  This week, it turned out that Connor was selected to be recognized.  We were all happily surprised and excited!  Connor was thrilled!  This award literally made his day the best!  He was recognized for being kind to others and always being respectful.

Halloween Houses

We had wanted to get a Halloween Gingerbread house, but I failed to find one.  We improvised and it was delicious either way.

Pumpkins

Today we carved pumpkins.   Well, I carved and they directed.  The light outside kept turning on because it is so windy outside, so I gave up trying to compete with it to take the pictures.

Safety Patrol

It has been Connor's dream to be a part of the school Safety Patrol since he was in Kindergarten.  You have to be a 5th grader to be eligible.  This year, he's finally in!  Today was his first day of training and he was bursting with excitement.
