Hiller Aviation Musuem

We took a family trip to the Hiller Aviation Museum.  The boys had a great time with their Grandparents, Auntie Molly, and cousins!

Kyle built Kylo Ren's light saber.
Here he was looking out at the airport wondering if they had planes to Texas out there.

Kyle was having fun watching the light up flying drone that was going by.

Christmas

Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Eve day we made ninja sugar cookies.  Can you tell they went a little nuts with the sprinkles?

My Mom in Law gave me an ugly Christmas sweater kit and here are the results.  I didn't use anything from the kit except the sweater, mind you.  It was some pretty awful stuff in there!  Thank goodness for Michaels!
We had Christmas Eve dinner at the my Brother and Sister in Law's house.  The boys spent lots of time with the cousins.

We came home and got the snacks ready for Santa, the reindeer, and of course Santa Mouse.
Christmas morning- Nicholas and Kyle woke up at 7.  They went to see if Santa had come and once they had seen that he had, they climbed into our bed and fell asleep again.  Connor woke up at 8.  He also went to check if Santa had come by and then he was joined by Nicholas.  They hung out, patiently waiting for us and Kyle to get up.  Kyle continued sleeping until almost 10!  The other two waited so patiently and never even tried to wake up Kyle.  :)
They were so excited with all of their gifts and we had a late, yummy breakfast.

 Happy Birthday Baby Jesus!

Many things

December has been a very busy month.

Nicholas has very, very bad eye allergies in the Winter.  We are not sure what he is allergic to, only that his eyes get very red and swollen a lot in the Winter.  They itch him like crazy, too.  We have medicine we give him to try to curb the effects, but this year we decided to give allergy glasses a try.  They are a cross between glasses and goggles and they have no prescription.  So far he loves them and it seems to be helping.
Nicholas made us this beautiful calendar at school for our Christmas gift.  We love his art!
Kyle also gave us his Christmas gift a little early.  He is very proud of his decorating job.
We went to see the new Star Wars movie last Saturday.  While we waited in line to get into the theater, Connor read Star Wars books to the his little brothers.  We all loved the movie!
Kyle lost his very first tooth!  He was so excited!  He is also excited that the one next to that one is also loose.
Kyle has been really missing his Texas Grandparents lately.  He took this picture and asked me to send it to them and said he was a present we were going to send to them.
We babysat Nadalina.  The boys were so excited to have her here!
We went to Happy Hollow with cousins, JT and Ryan.  The boys always have fun together.
Kyle has been checking in on Mary and Joseph frequently.  He lets them take turns napping in the manger since Baby Jesus is not using it yet.  Today he also gave them a turkey, because he said they must be hungry.
We also found out today that the next ceremony for Connor's Reflections essay is on January 7th, so we will find out then if he moves on to the next level of competition.

Gilroy Gardens and Gingerbread houses

We had a busy weekend of Holiday cheer.  We went to Gilroy Gardens with friends on Saturday.  We went to a cute play called The Christmas Mouse (about a little hungry mouse who accidentally gets carried away and eats a Gingerbread house all up) on Sunday and then we came home and made our own Gingerbread houses.

We usually take this penguin picture before the park, but we neglected to do so until the end.  As a result, you see three very tired penguins.

Charlie and I shared a house this year.  He built it, and I decorated it.

Nicholas is thankful

Tonight, Nicholas announced he had created a song he wanted me to hear.  I was so happy to hear his song and how much it shows how much love is in his little heart.  My little grateful boy!

If you care to take a listen, here you go.

Also, here is a piece of artwork he made at school.  I love it!  He is my boy who loves all colors warm.
