Montalvo

We spent this beautiful day on a hike at Montalvo.  The youngest two ran up almost the whole way to the top of the mountain.  They called their team the Speeders.  Connor and I walked more slowly.  They three of them ran down the mountain.  It was beautiful!

 Connor performed for us after the hike.  He loved having the whole stage to himself!

Doctor Who Day

One of the local libraries had a Doctor Who day today!  We found out about it on Thursday night and Friday the boys decided they wanted to participate in the costume contest.  They told me what they wanted to dress up as and I set to work after school on Friday to make their costumes.  When they woke up Saturday morning, they were so excited!  :) 
Connor dressed up as a character named Chip (who adores his mistress, Cassandra).  Nicholas dressed up as a red dalek.  Kyle dressed up as an adipose.
Connor won first place in the costume contest.  He took second place in the kids trivia contest.  Charlie took first place in the adults trivia contest.

 The other day we went to the park and they played with their Nerf guns.

 

 Connor was Student of the Month at school!  He has been doing amazing in Middle School and we are so proud of him!  He's turning into quite the responsible young man!

 Connor bought me a Valentine from school.  He said it was cute so he got it for me.

Nicholas' Birthday Party

Lots of Stuff

I have been so bad at posting!

Nicholas turned 9 years old last Sunday.  He had a great day!  

 

 This week he had to have a baby molar extracted since it had a very bad cavity.  He was very brave and cooperative at the dentist.  He has no pain despite the procedure.  He was very happy to learn that all he could eat yesterday was ice cream.  We bought him a big tub of red velvet ice cream from Coldstone so he could eat it throughout the day.  His brothers were quite jealous!

 Kyle was Super Star a few weeks ago at school.  Unfortunately, El Nino has made it so that Froggy Friday assembly has been cancelled so many times over the rain.  He finally got his certificate today and we took a picture with his teacher. He told his class that when he grows up he wants to be a dog trainer. 

 

Connor made the Honor Roll!  We are so proud of him!
