Beach Day

The boys are on Spring Break so we had a Beach Day today.  It was a great time!

Ladybugs

The youngest two are super obsessed with ladybugs.  We went to buy some from the store and released them in our irises. 

Legally Blonde

This year Connor decided to try out for a play.  He wasn't sure he would enjoy it, but was curious, and one of his best friends was trying out as well.  He went for it and gave it his all.  He didn't get the part he hoped for, but he loved the whole experience and came to love his characters in the play.  He had a very busy weekend with 3 shows.  He is exhausted but sad the play is over.  He can't wait for the next one!

 The other two boys were so supportive of their big brother this weekend.  Charlie was out of town and all of our sitters were out of town or very ill, so they were stuck with just me.  We had tickets for the 2nd show only, but when we dropped Connor off at the first show, they were swept up in the excitement and wanted to attend the 1st show.  I thought they would be so over it after the 2nd show, but nope!  They really wanted to see the 3rd show too.  We had to be there way before show time, so they played in the open area.  They found several ladybugs and helped each other pass the time between shows.  We are all so proud of Connor! 

 The plan was to get milkshakes to celebrate after the 3rd show, but the cast party went so long that all the places Connor wanted a milk shake were already closed.  We went today after Mass, and the boys were so excited. 

Babysitting

Today we had the pleasure of babysitting Nadalina.  When Nadalina and I went to pick up Kyle from school, he was super excited and told everyone who would listen that Nadalina was his God sister.

Field Trip and extras

Kyle's class went on a field trip to watch the play, Jack and the Beanstalk.  It was so much fun to ride the big school bus to and from the play.

 Wednesday was a hot day for us.  We had 90+ degree weather, so the school sold shaved ice.  We enjoyed our shaved ice with friends in the shade.

Tide Pool Show

Tonight it was Nicholas' turn to carry on the 3rd Grade Tide Pool Show tradition.  :)
