Noon Year's Eve

Today we celebrated Noon Year's Eve at the Children's Discovery Museum.  They had a countdown and ball drop at Noon, one, and two o'clock.  We stayed for the first two ball drops, but then headed home because we were starving!

Of course, we had to play Fire fighters by the entrance.
Connor learned the hard way that he no longer fits into the fireman's uniforms.
 A giant guitar!
 DRUMS!

Blowing kisses to me from the Wells Fargo Stage Coach.
Can you tell what happened next in this picture?
The anxious little girl jumped into his bubble and popped it!
Water Ways is always lots of fun!

Below, Connor is making a face because he is bracing himself for what he's about to do in the following picture.

At Noon, there was a ball drop, since it is New Year's on the other side of the world!  The boys were so excited to see the ball drop!

After the ball drop, there was many games.  Connor was SUPER excited to win this bag for BEST DANCER!  He was so proud of himself!  He says all the Just Dance video games are really paying off.  HA!
Nicholas also won a trivia contest.  Thing is, they gave him the prize, because they couldn't actually hear his answer over all the noise!  He didn't argue with them.

Happy Hollow

Today we went to Happy Hollow.  It seems like it has been a while.  The boys had fun running around.
They all barely fit on the poor little elephant!
 Posing by the bridge

See Saw-- Connor versus Kyle and Nicholas!

 Swinging

 Digging for dinosaur bones

 Carousel

Eating lunch while waiting for the puppet show to start.
The puppet show guy gave them a sneak peak behind the stage, since we were there so early.
Lunch is over, so now it is dance time!

And in case you wanted to see Kyle and Connor's dance moves in action, here you go--

Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve at Auntie Molly and Uncle Phill's house.  The boys enjoyed themselves and we all enjoyed the delicious food and family time.

We came home and the boys picked out what cookies they wanted to leave for Santa.

Santa left a thank you note after he ate his cookies.
Then, someone took a little nap on the couch.
Santa left the kids only one present and their stockings.
The presents came with a note to remind them to be better listeners.
The rest of the gifts were in a corner of the room!
The older two woke up first at 7:30.  They were discussing the fact that there was only one present each and how they should try harder next year.  They were glad Santa enjoyed the cookies.  Connor searched the whole rest of the house looking for hidden presents, but came up empty.  It was Nicholas who discovered the other presents in the corner of the room.
Charlie was quite festive as he sleepily handed out gifts.
Kyle was the last to wake up and given his demeanor, he probably could have used a little more sleep as well.
Connor made me a calendar at school, which I adore.  :)
Kyle refused to open his own gifts.  He made his brothers open them for him.

Connor was excited to put together all his Lego sets.
Kyle and Nicholas played with the Duplos instead of the little Lego.
Snacks are ready to be enjoyed!
Happy Birthday, Baby Jesus!
Getting ready to sing Happy Birthday to Jesus!

They all blew out the candle for Him.

A very Merry Christmas to everyone!
