We returned this last Wednesday from our yearly trip to Texas. It was great to see and spend time with family, but we are so glad to be home!
There was a group of Police Officers eating at the table next to us. Kyle was obsessing as to why they were not wearing their hats, so he went and asked them. They told him it was because they were eating and they gave him a little badge. He was thoroughly pleased.

We went walking every morning during the week.
On this day, the kids opted to play basketball than walk laps.
We went to Boerne one day with my Tia Hilda. We fed lots of ducks. Nicholas is nervous in this picture because there was a momma duck sitting on nest in the bushes of the sign so he was afraid she would be upset and attack us. She did not.

One day at the park, we met this cutie dog. She followed us home and we all fell in love with her. My Mom named her Bitsy. She was so calm and she loved us all, especially Kyle. She could snuggle all day. Unfortunately, my parents decided a dog was too much for them and so we had many tears when Bitsy was re-homed.
The older two boys got to participate in the Fishing Derby. Cousin Dagan caught 7 fish, Nicholas caught 5, and Connor caught 3. They enjoyed themselves, even though they didn't win any prizes.
We went fishing on another day when Kyle could join us. We didn't catch anything that day though.

We had a pool party on the Fourth of July.
The Sauceda side of the family had their Family Reunion. It was lots of fun, but it was quite hot out at the ranch.
